Supreme X The North Face

Before I start on the new Supreme X The North Face collaboration, I would like to pay tribute to another mental demonstration of America's love for a sale. My pick of the bunch was the charming lady that pepper sprayed over 20 of her fellow shoppers to gain an advantage so she could grab an Xbox game console that was on sale...

"People started screaming, pulling and pushing each other, and then the whole area filled up with pepper spray"

Brilliant.

Released on this day of madness, Supreme joined up with The North Face, once again, to introduce their take on the Nuptse Down Jacket and Rolling Thunder Bag. The time the collaboration between the two powerhouse labels has seen a stronger Supreme element in the form of the leopard printed shell.

They will be available in-store in NY, LA, London and online on November 25th, 2011. In Japan they will drop on November 26th.

After first hearing Jamie Jones play 'Get Up Disco,' at The Faversham (Leeds), Soho808 have been quite easily one of my favourite artist of 2011. As the story goes, New York's exciting duo comprising of Nathaniel Jay and Dave Robertson, first met at an after party in NYC. From party acquaintances to close friends, the two sparked over their healthy obsession for dance music on the deeper end, talking tunes and spinning records for hours on end.

Before Soho808, both Jay and Robertson had built established portfolio's within the music industry. After moving to New York, from his hometwon Boston in 1999, Nathaniel Jay's Dj career kicked off, playing at various deep house nights. Most notably alongside Rob Mello at Dig Your Own Rave. Whilst on the other spectrum of the music industry the highly talented Dave Robertson was becoming an award-winning sound designer and composer, working with brands such as Nintendo and Sony.

Their tracks "Just to See" and "Get Up Disco" were featured on Soul Clap's Social Experiment 2 and Jamie Jones Fabric 59 mix CDs, respectively. Most recently, they've been signed to Roy Dank's Wurst Music Co., which released another soho808 original, "Reach" this October and are also going to feature on Disko Records compilations for the second time with "Turning Slow" featuring vocals from Lydia Caeser another on New York's finest talents.

THE SNAPBACK

In his latest collaboration, sneaker designer Ronnie Fieg has teamed up with Quintin on a series of Pendleton Wool 6 Panel caps resulting in.. The Ronnie Fieg X Pendleton X Quintin 6 Panel Snapbacks.

There are 6 different hats which feature a snapback enclosure, 3 versions with Pendleton on the crown and underbill (Navy, Black, Grey), and 3 with Pendleton on the top of the brim (Red, Charcoal, Navy). All hats were cut from different sections of wool, which means every hat has it’s own unique pattern.

Limited to only 60 caps per style they were released the 11/11/11 on Kithnyc.com. If you want them, dont mess about..
